Job Summary

Proximo Spirits is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Business Intelligence and Analytics division. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth through data analysis and insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop ETL Processes: Create and maintain efficient ETL pipelines to extract data from various sources, transform it to meet business requirements, and load it into data warehouses and other storage solutions.
  • AWS Integration: Leverage AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, and RDS to design and implement scalable and secure data integration solutions.
  • Develop and maintain new analytical capabilities and reporting utilizing Tableau, SQL, and other tools that will help drive insights for Sales and Marketing.
  • Python Scripting: Utilize Python for scripting and automation tasks within the ETL processes, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize ETL processes for performance and efficiency, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and issues.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of ETL processes, data flow diagrams, and data mappings.
  • Apply data-driven strategic thinking to frame complex questions into analytical problems and provide meaningful insights.
  • Monitor and improve BI operations, automating processes where possible and identifying and correcting issues proactively.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree in Computer Science (or related field) and 5+ years of experience.
  • Experience leveraging technologies/tools such as Snowflake & Tableau.
  • Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and architecture using SQL, Alteryx, and/or Matillion.
  • Relational database modelling and implementation using SQL.
  • Strong knowledge of data manipulation, database design, foundational data analytics and data platform structures; ability to manage large data sets & databases.
  • Expert Microsoft Office Proficiency.
