Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
  • Position patients for exams, ensuring proper alignment and comfort
  • Administer contrast media and other medications as needed
  • Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergencies
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information and exam results
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure optimal imaging performance
Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Current certification as a Registered MRI Technologist (RMRT) or Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in MRI
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with MRI equipment and software
  • Knowledge of MRI safety protocols and procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
