Job Title: Gas Plant Operations Specialist

WHITCO is looking for a skilled operations specialist to join our team and assist in the planning, design, and construction of natural gas projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously and possess strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate project planning, constructability reviews, estimating, project bidding, scope allocation, unit pricing review, change order management, cost controls, scheduling, contractor/subcontractor management, oversight of inspection team, QA/QC, project safety, project As-Built records, and compliance with company standards, processes and procedures.
  • Manage project timelines, ensure that all deadlines are met, and identify, monitor, and report areas of risk.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, monitor progress, and make adjustments as needed.
Requirements:
  • 10-15 years of experience in energy, utility, or construction fields; 5-10 years of project management/construction management experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering management, engineering science, or a related field preferred.
  • Valid driver's license, background check, personal vehicle in excellent working condition, valid auto insurance, pre-employment drug testing, and quarterly drug testing required.
Salary and Benefits:

$90,000 - $120,000 per year, based on previous experience, qualifications, training, and credentials.
