Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and identify individual needs
  • Administer renal replacement therapy treatments, ensuring accurate and timely care
  • Prepare treatment areas with necessary supplies and maintain equipment according to policy
  • Provide patient and family education on treatment plans, procedures, and preventative measures
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure comprehensive care and education
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved Bachelor or Associate school of nursing and current state license to practice nursing
  • At least 2 years of current experience in the specialty or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification
  • Current BLS required, Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred
  • Ability to safely operate dialysis machines
