Join our team at Holland America/Princess Alaska-Yukon Land Operations as a Fleet Maintenance Technician. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks on motorcoaches and service vehicles.
Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on motorcoaches and service vehicles.
- Conduct equipment inspections and determine appropriate action.
- Maintain maintenance facilities and areas according to established company standards.
- Associate's degree or completion of technical training or certification in motorcoach and over the road vehicle maintenance.
- Proficiency in computer business applications and working knowledge of computerized maintenance inventory or purchasing systems.
- Two years of experience in positions involving motorcoach maintenance.
- Current, valid driver's license with three years clean driving record.
- Commercial Driver's License, Class B with air brake endorsement preferred.
- CFC and brake inspector certification preferred.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screening and random drug testing program.
- Pass a pre-employment background check.
- Minimum age of 18 years required to reside in company housing.
- Ability to prioritize work, maintain attention to time constraints, and work in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and achieve daily goals.
- Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Ability to stand/walk/work on feet for minimum of 8 hours per day.
