Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Labor and Employment Associate to join our team at Devana Group. As a key member of our HR solutions team, you will provide expert legal advice and support to clients on a wide range of labor and employment matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and support to clients on labor and employment matters, including discrimination, harassment, wage and hour laws, employee benefits, and workplace safety.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda, pleadings, and other legal documents.
  • Represent clients in labor and employment-related litigation and administrative proceedings.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures for clients.
  • Conduct trainings and presentations on labor and employment law topics for clients and internal staff.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in labor and employment laws and regulations and advise clients accordingly.
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement strategic solutions for clients.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
  • 2-4 years of experience in labor and employment law, preferably in a law firm or corporate setting.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state labor and employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with client counseling and representation in litigation and administrative proceedings is preferred.
