Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) Addiction Medicine to join our team in Marblehead, Massachusetts.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate RN to provide expert care to patients struggling with addiction. As a Registered Nurse Addiction Medicine, you will work closely with our Substance Use Disorder Medical Director to develop and implement treatment plans for patients at MGB Salem Hospital.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Substance Use Disorder Medical Director to provide guidance on the development and treatment of substance use disorders in patients.
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and staff on substance use disorders and addiction treatment.
- Participate in hospital-wide, community-based, and MGB SUD task forces to promote best practices in addiction treatment.
- Work closely with the Psychiatry service to provide comprehensive care to patients with substance use disorders.
Requirements:
- Masters Degree or higher in Social Work, Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or related field.
- Any licensed discipline (PhD/PsyD, LICSW or LMHC).
- Knowledge of substance use issues and significant mental health concerns with adolescents and adults.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and families.
