Job SummaryThe Lead Instrument/ OR Technician is a critical member of our Sterile Processing team, responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective processing of medical instruments and equipment. This role requires strong leadership and technical skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with our surgical teams.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory management and distribution of medical instruments and equipment
- Receiving, processing, and sterilization of instruments and equipment
- Leadership and supervision of Sterile Processing staff
- Collaboration with surgical teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of instruments and equipment
- Maintenance of sterile products and equipment
- Accurate pulling of cases based on doctor's preference cards
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sterile processing department
- Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) or Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification
- Intermediate computer knowledge, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows
