We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse Case Manager to join our team at Focus Staff. As a Contract RN Case Manager, you will be responsible for providing case management services to patients and ensuring their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Case Management: Provides case management services to patients according to policy and procedure.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Priority Setting: Ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Patient Advocacy: Acts to protect and advance patients' best interests.
- Knowledge and Skills: Maintains knowledge of billing, pay or contracts, agreements and reimbursement issues.
- Education: B.S. in Nursing or related health field preferred but not required.
- Experience: Minimum of three years hospital-based nursing practice with experience in utilization/case management.
- Licensure: Current state license required.
- Certifications: BLS for Healthcare Providers required within 30 days of hire.
This is a contract/temporary/travel position with a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, energetic, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
