Job Title: Overnight Security Patrol Officer

Location: Various locations in the Mid Atlantic region

Work Environment: Financial Institution

Compensation: $27.00 per hour

Shift Details: Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM

Experience Requirement: A minimum of 3 years in Security, Law Enforcement, or Military service is essential. A valid driver's license is mandatory for traveling between multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a deployable officer within a small patrol team, covering various bank branches.
  • Each shift, you will be stationed at a different branch, ensuring security and reporting findings at the end of your shift.
  • Conduct thorough patrols of assigned areas, checking for safety hazards, security breaches, and unauthorized individuals.
  • Perform regular inspections of security devices and emergency equipment.
  • Maintain order and enforce site regulations regarding personnel and visitors.
  • Control access to facilities and protect evidence during incidents.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies, including medical situations, fire alarms, and security threats.
  • Document daily activities and any irregularities in detailed reports.
  • Be available for additional hours as required.
  • Lift packages and boxes weighing up to 75 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a valid DC Security Officer License.
  • Experience in patrolling sensitive environments such as hospitals or educational institutions is preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills are essential for reporting and interaction.
  • Flexibility to work various hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Proficiency in technology and ability to operate a work phone.
