Key Responsibilities- Lead the clinical team in supporting physicians to provide medical care to patients
- Anticipate physician needs to ensure efficient clinical office functioning
- Collaborate with medical secretaries regarding patient care plans
- Communicate significant clinical issues to the Clinical Operations Coordinator and/or Clinical Operations Manager
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring accurate and efficient maintenance of patient electronic medical records
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, their families, and colleagues
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Graduate of an accredited business school or college with a focus in medical assisting preferred
- Medical Assistant certification required
- Current license by the State of Pennsylvania as a Licensed Practical Nurse (for Level II)
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (for Level II)
- Two years of experience working in a medical practice or hospital setting as a Medical Assistant preferred (for Level II)
- Basic computer skills and ability to effectively and accurately use the electronic medical records system
- Independent judgment necessary to work in accordance with department practices and general directives received by Clinical Operations Coordinator and/or Clinical Operations Manager
- Effective and efficient organization and time management skills required
- Excellent communication skills, frequently involving collaboration with physicians, management/leadership, and other organizational personnel
- Ability to work independently and utilize time management, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to stand and walk for up to eighty percent of work time when performing job assignments
Our climate-controlled environment offers a comfortable and safe space for our employees to work. Occasionally, you may be required to work outside, but this is not a frequent occurrence.
