Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to optimize financial performance and resource allocation.
  • Identify potential financial risks and opportunities, providing recommendations to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
Financial Strategy and Planning:
  • Strategic Financial Guidance: Develop and implement forward-thinking financial plans to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Cash Flow Management: Optimize cash flow forecasting and planning to accurately reflect upcoming capital needs.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential financial risks, ensuring the company's assets and financial integrity are safeguarded.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
  • Financial Insights: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, interpret complex data, and provide actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Expertise: Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards, regulations, and tax requirements.
Funding and Capital Management:
  • Capital Raising and Management: Collaborate with the executive team to identify funding needs and negotiate financial agreements and investments.
  • Optimized Capital Structure: Oversee cash flow management to ensure efficient use of resources and optimize capital structure.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance executive in the renewable energy industry, preferably with a solar developer or similar organization. Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.

Compensation Package: Estimated annual salary $240,000 - $260,000 USD; bonus opportunity 50% of annual salary. Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision benefits, paid vacation time, and wellness benefits.
