Veterinary Technician

Key Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture for phlebotomy and catheter placement
- Collect and process laboratory samples, including fecal/parasite analysis, ear cytology, skin cytology, urinalysis, and blood smears
- Administer vaccines and medications, including oral, topical, and injectable forms
- Assist in surgery and dental cleanings, including prep and anesthesia
- Take radiographs and effectively communicate with clients
- Utilize computerized medical records and invoicing systems
- State of NY Veterinary Technician License required
- Minimum of 1-year of experience preferred
- Veterinary software experience is a plus
- Ability to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends, with hourly wage commensurate with experience
