We are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Registered Nurse to join our team at Memorial Satilla Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and achieving positive patient and departmental outcomes.
Responsibilities- Maintain overall accountability for assigned patients, ensuring their needs are met and their goals are achieved.
- Assist patients with exercise, provide proper skin care to prevent skin breakdown, and ensure patients are properly positioned to prevent further immobility.
- Coordinate with the rehab therapy team to provide acute medical management and improve patients' loss of or impairment in functional skills, such as mobility, cognition, activities of daily living, and communication.
- Administer medications in accordance with physician orders and instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment plans.
- Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing, holding an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher.
- Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state in which you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
- A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification is required.
Memorial Satilla Health is a 230+ bed acute-care hospital serving the Middle-Georgia community for over 60 years. Our hospital offers a range of services, including an ER, Heart, Orthopedic, Surgery, Rehabilitation, Sleep, and Birthing Centers, as well as an extensive Mental Health program for seniors and those suffering with memory loss.
