Meat Cutter

We are seeking a skilled Meat/Seafood Butcher to join our team at Big Y. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meat and seafood products while providing exceptional customer service.

1. Product Preparation: Prepare and package meat and seafood products to meet customer demands.
2. Customer Service: Provide World Class customer service and a pleasant shopping experience.
3. Inventory Management: Maintain inventory levels and order products as needed.
4. Equipment Maintenance: Operate, clean, and maintain equipment and machinery.
5. Team Collaboration: Work with management and fellow employees to achieve operational and sales goals.
6. Training and Development: Provide training and product knowledge to colleagues.
7. Store Maintenance: Maintain proper department conditions and ensure a clean and safe work environment.
8. Continuous Improvement: Engage in and encourage continuous improvement through ideas and innovation.

1. Experience: Previous experience in perishable foods handling and preparation is preferred.
2. Communication Skills: Possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
3. Teamwork: Must be a team player with a positive attitude and businesslike conduct.
4. Adaptability: Ability to work a flexible schedule and adapt to changing store needs.
