The Clinical Nurse I is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in our Medical Surgical Float Pool. This role requires a strong foundation in nursing principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Utilize the nursing process to provide high-quality patient care, taking into account individual patient needs and preferences.
- Assess, organize, and complete patient care with consideration for patient age, cultural, and psychosocial factors.
- Document patient care and progress towards goals, utilizing proper medical terminology.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Support unit and hospital goals through participation in performance improvement initiatives and educational activities.
- Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License.
- 0-6 months related experience.
- Working knowledge of general disease state management processes, bio-psychosocial model, and clinical pathways.
- Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and efficient manner.
The Clinical Nurse I will work closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
