Job Title: ETL Developer

SWBC is seeking a skilled ETL Developer to join our Data Management Team. As an ETL Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing ETL integration processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement ETL processes using Information Builders or similar products
  • Develop data integration modules for ETL functions
  • Develop aggregation, monitoring, and alerts tools and modules
  • Participate in the overall development process through architecture guidance, design, and code reviews
  • Design, implement, and maintain a report, monitor, and dashboard framework
  • Investigate new technologies and advances, especially in the areas of ETL and Cloud
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years in ETL development using Information Builders or similar products
  • Extensive knowledge of different data languages, formats, and syntax, including SQL, JavaScript Object Notation (JSON), Extensible Markup Language (XML), etc.
  • Working knowledge of relational database systems such as Microsoft SQL Server or IBM DB2
  • Proven work experience as an ETL developer
  • Cloud-hosted server experience
  • Knowledge of cloud data sources like S3, Aurora, Relational Database Service (RDS), DynamoDB, and EC2 is a plus
  • Experience with AWS ETL tools like Glue (Python), Data Pipeline, and Talend
  • Understanding of data cleansing, data verification, and data configuration
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and detail-oriented skills
  • Strong communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office to include MS Excel
  • Experience in an agile environment
