Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced EDI Administrator to oversee the receipt and transmission of all EDI documents and provide user support at our client site. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of EDI standards, software troubleshooting, and system setup.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and administer end-to-end EDI processes, including configuration, mapping, testing, and debugging.
  • Monitor EDI transactions to ensure timely and accurate data transmission between internal systems and external trading partners.
  • Implement and maintain EDI document standards, including ANSI X12 and EDIFACT.
  • Provide user support, including configuration, mapping, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct training sessions for internal stakeholders to enhance their understanding of EDI processes and tools.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
  • Extensive experience with EDI software solutions, including IBM Sterling, OpenText, and PentaSAP.
  • Proficiency with various EDI standards, including ANSI X12 and EDIFACT.
  • Ability to create and manage EDI maps and translate documents between EDI and other formats.
  • Experience with integration middleware and techniques that facilitate the exchange of data between disparate systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified EDI Professional (CEP) and/or EDI Mapping Tools Certification.
  • Experience in the automotive industry or related field.
  • Knowledge of automotive EDI transactions, including 810, 820, 830, 850, and 862.
