Surgical Technologist

At Hudson Regional Hospital, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prevent hospital-acquired infections by maintaining proper hand hygiene and ensuring aseptic technique is followed.
• Assist the operating surgeon in patient care and perform assigned duties under direct supervision.
• Prepare for surgery within an acceptable timeframe and prioritize workload accordingly.
• Utilize equipment properly and adhere to OR protocols to ensure a safe and efficient operating environment.
• Maintain established hospital policies and procedures, including infection control and safety standards.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalency
• Graduate of an Accredited Surgical Technology Program approved by CAAHEP or ABHES
• BLS certification by AHA
• Surgical Technician Certification (CST) authorized by NBSTSA
