We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Discovery Mood & Anxiety Program. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our treatment programs.
Responsibilities:- Ensure all orders from physicians are carried out and communicate client information to the treatment team.
- Implement the Nursing Care Plan and follow orders from physicians and psychiatrists.
- Dispense medication as prescribed and count narcotics daily.
- Perform primary first aid and determine the need for physician notification.
- Manage client medical needs, including scheduling appointments and completing referrals.
- Support clients during admission processes and supervise community outings.
- Objectively document client progress and assess suicidality.
- Completion of a LVN/LPN or equivalent program.
- Holds a current LVN/LPN license in good standing or equivalent.
- One year experience preferred in mental health or eating disorders field.
- Blood draw certificate preferred.
- Must possess a current Driver's License in good standing.
