We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in a unique nurse practitioner role. In this position, you will work closely with the School Nurse and Health Services Coordinator to provide holistic patient care and promote student wellness. Duties and Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a patient-centered approach. Your duties will include conducting health screenings, administering medication, and implementing student healthcare plans. You will also serve as a health resource person to the school and community, assisting in the maintenance and updating of health records and maintaining accurate documentation of information.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need a Virginia LPN License, Basic Life Support certification, and considerable nursing experience related to health issues inherent in school-age children. You must also be able to lift up to 50 pounds and possess excellent communication skills.
