Key Responsibilities

The Wine Service Specialist will play a vital role in crafting a sophisticated yet welcoming experience for guests at Triple Creek Ranch. Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring a seamless wine and beverage service in the dining area, contributing to the overall ambiance.
  • Engaging with guests to provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine and beverage selections.
  • Maintaining the integrity of the wine list and ensuring accurate billing for wine and spirits.
  • Adhering to alcohol service policies to promote a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.
  • Assisting with food service as directed by the Beverage Manager.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must:

  • Possess a valid alcohol server certification in the state of Montana or be willing to obtain one within 60 days of hire.
  • Hold a minimum certification of Introductory Sommelier from the Court of Master Sommeliers or a similar recognized body; advanced certification is preferred.
  • Be physically capable of performing tasks such as lifting and carrying items weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
Essential Functions
  • Foster a vibrant and energetic atmosphere that enhances the guest experience while upholding the highest standards of service.
  • Support the overall five-star image of Triple Creek Ranch through exceptional service and attention to detail.
  • Participate in the training of service staff regarding beverage offerings and pairings.
  • Maintain a proactive presence on the dining floor to assist guests and staff as needed.
  • Assist in inventory management and control of beverage supplies.
