About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Nurse to join our team at Providence Medford Medical Center. As a member of our nursing staff, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in the operating room, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans, taking into account individual patient needs and preferences.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety and quality, identifying and reporting any potential safety concerns or near misses.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • 1 year Nursing experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • National Certification in area of specialty upon hire.
