Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced faculty member to join our Computer Science department as an Assistant Professor or Senior Lecturer. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Computer Information Systems (CIS) and Computer Science (CS) related credit courses, as well as contributing to the development of our programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach the equivalent of 30-teaching load hours during an academic year
  • Design and deliver engaging and effective courses
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Contribute to the development of our programs and curriculum
  • Engage in professional development and service to the college community
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Demonstrated experience with programming languages such as Java, C, and/or Python
  • Ability to use technology in teaching
  • Positive, cooperative, and supportive attitude
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Prior teaching experience at the college level in Computer Science
  • Prior teaching experience or professional experience in a related field, such as Cybersecurity, Data Science, Statistics, or Mathematics
