OSP Superintendent

We are seeking a highly skilled OSP Superintendent - Communications Specialist to join our team at Primoris Services Corporation. As a key member of our infrastructure development team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, modification, and splicing of fiber optic cabling.

• Project Coordination: Provide on-site coordination of fiber optic cabling installation, modification, and splicing work performed by crew.
• Site Surveying: Conduct site surveys to determine the best installation practices.
• Team Management: Coordinate workflow within the unit, act as company liaison, and provide on-the-job training to other technicians as needed.
• Training and Development: Provide OJT training for employees working under your direction on construction/installation practices and methods to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
• Liaison and Communication: Act as liaison between Prince Telecom and our MSO.
• Technician Supervision: Train, supervise, discipline, and evaluate field technicians.
• Quality Control: Ensure and maintain all MSO and company quality control and safety requirements.
• Problem Resolution: Identify performance issues and recommend and implement corrective action.
• Customer Relations: Resolve complaints with property owners in areas where our personnel are working.
• Scheduling and Staffing: Coordinate scheduling and ensure adequate staffing.
• Departmental Improvement: Identify problem areas in the department and communicate problems and possible solutions to the Project Manager.
• Procedure Development: Develop procedures and implement them to better organize the team/department.
• Lead Technician Management: Assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to the lead technicians.
• Operating Standards: Establish, implement, and maintain operating standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.
• Quality Assurance: Perform quality control inspections and correct issues and complaints.

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year Fiber Optic construction/installation experience.
• Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Flexibility: Must be able to work a very flexible schedule.
• Teamwork: Must be a team player.
• Supervisory Experience: Former supervisory experience a plus.
• Credentials: Must be able to pass Background and Drug screening.
• Driver's License: Valid driver's license with minimum of 2 years driving experience and a good driving record.

• Lifting: Ability to lift weight up to 75 lbs.
• Climbing: Ability to carry and climb a 28' ladder from truck to pole and/or house.
• Weather Conditions: Ability to work in all kinds of weather conditions.
• Mobility: Walking, sitting, kneeling & crouching.
