Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality speech-language pathology services to patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and schools.
  • Assess and diagnose communication and swallowing disorders, and develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and physical therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify patient needs and develop treatment plans that address those needs.
  • Implement and monitor treatment plans, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records of treatment plans and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Minnesota.
  • ASHA CCC certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
