Responsibilities- Provide Quality Patient Care: Administer medications, perform treatments, and document patient information accurately and efficiently.
- Lead and Guide Nursing Staff: Supervise and mentor nursing assistants and orderlies to ensure seamless delivery of patient care.
- Collaborate with Physicians: Assist with rounds, physical examinations, and treatments as needed, and maintain open communication with physicians to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain Infection Control Measures: Adhere to all regulations and guidelines to prevent the spread of infection and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives: Contribute to research and development of quality nursing care practices, and assist with records, orders, and assessments as assigned.
- Education and Licensure: Registered Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing, and current, valid license from North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Certifications and Training: CPR certified, and ability to attend in-service training and staff meetings as required.
- Skills and Abilities: Ability to supervise nursing assistants, make decisions regarding nursing problems, and work collaboratively with all nursing personnel and other departments.
