Job Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage identified health needs in the clinical and inpatient setting;
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care;
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each patient's specific needs;
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care;
Qualifications:
- A Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited institution;
- Current board certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA);
- Valid Louisiana Physician Assistant licensure;
- Valid DEA registration;
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA);
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is a plus;
- Experience working with pediatric or orthopedic patients;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
