Food Safety Specialist

About the Role:
PSSI is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Safety Team Member to join our team. As a key member of our food safety team, you will play a critical role in protecting the nation's food supply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with and around PSSI-issued sanitation chemicals to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Clean and sanitize plants while understanding and complying with all food safety and safety policies and procedures.
- Perform physical activities like lifting, pushing, and pulling of sanitation equipment to ensure efficient and effective cleaning processes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull sanitation equipment as needed.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
