About the Role:
Concentra, a leading healthcare company, is seeking a skilled Physiatrist to join our team as an independent contractor. This contract position is designed to complement your existing practice, offering a flexible and rewarding opportunity to work with our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist services, including EMGs and NCS, for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work-related injuries
- Communicate with employers and take an active role in case management
- Collaborate with medical and therapy providers to manage medically complex patients and expedite return to work and functional restoration
Requirements:
- Preferred experience in treating patients with work-related injuries
- Licensure requirements of the state of practice
- Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program from an accredited university
- Unrestricted DEA license for the state of jurisdiction
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
- Medical Malpractice Insurance that covers you while on site
