Overview
Southern Regional Medical Center, a member of the Prime Healthcare Foundation, is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of ultrasound exams, ensuring technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation. You will position patients and equipment, produce high-quality recordings, and transmit images to our Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must possess a strong educational background and relevant work experience. A Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Technologist (RT) certification in at least one body or region is required within 90 days of hire and must be maintained. Previous experience in ultrasound technology is preferred, and proficiency in computer skills is essential.
