We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Staten Island, New York.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing radiopharmaceutical agents and administering them to patients prior to using a scanner or camera to capture images. They will also provide technical support to physicians and researchers, and perform procedures including injecting radiopharmaceuticals under the direct supervision of a radiologist.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare radiopharmaceutical agents and administer them to patients
  • Provide technical support to physicians and researchers
  • Perform procedures including injecting radiopharmaceuticals under the direct supervision of a radiologist
  • Ensure the environment is safe at all times for patients and staff
  • Maintain accurate patient records
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • BLS certification
  • NMT National certification from the AART or NMTCB
  • State-specific licensing when required
