About the Position

Norton Children's Gastroenterology is seeking a board-certified, fellowship-trained pediatric gastroenterologist to join our team of skilled professionals in providing comprehensive patient care for a broad range of gastrointestinal, liver, and nutritional problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a combination of inpatient and outpatient care at the 300-bed Norton Children's Hospital and two local outpatient clinics.
  • Collaborate with pediatric specialists in surgery, pulmonology, allergy, and ear, nose, and throat to offer multidisciplinary care for aerodigestive disorders and eosinophilic esophagitis.
  • Participate in quality improvement efforts for inpatient and outpatient clinical services.
  • Perform surgical procedures, including endoscopy and colonoscopy.
  • Contribute to ongoing research and clinical program involvement at the University of Louisville and its residency program.
Qualifications
  • Medical degree/diploma
  • Board certified/board eligible
  • Kentucky medical license or license eligible
