Job Title: Music Educator

Reports to: General Manager/Music Director

School of Rock is a leading music education provider with a strong brand and a growing community of passionate music lovers. We are seeking a qualified Music Educator to join our team and teach students of all ages and skill levels.

The Music Educator will be responsible for creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment that fosters musical growth and creativity. They will teach private lessons and group classes, develop lesson plans, and communicate with parents and students to ensure a positive and productive experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach private lessons and group classes to students of all ages and skill levels
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of students
• Communicate regularly with parents and students to ensure a positive and productive experience
• Assist with rehearsals and basic maintenance in the school
• Adhere to the SOR Code of Conduct and safety policies

Requirements:

• 2+ years' experience teaching and/or performing music professionally
• Knowledge of music theory and curriculum design a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
