About This Job:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Donation Center Attendant at Goodwill of Chesapeake.

As an ADC Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that donations are accepted, sorted, and processed efficiently, while providing exceptional customer service and contributing to a positive shopping experience.

This is a great opportunity for those who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication skills.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Accept donations from customers and issue donation receipts
  • Assess the quality of merchandise and pre-sort items for resale or salvage
  • Provide excellent customer service and answer customer questions
  • Loading and unloading trailers for shipment

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1 year of material handling or customer service experience preferred
