Job Description

Ryder is seeking a qualified Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team in Liberty, MO. As a solo truck driver, you will be responsible for delivering freight to various locations in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules
  • Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
  • Loading and unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
  • Performing other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder drug test
  • Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
  • Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
Benefits:
  • Weekly guarantee of $1350
  • Hourly pay: $33.70 per hour
  • Safety bonus: pays $425 four times a year, every quarter
