Endoscopy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Endoscopy Technician to join our team at MaineHealth. As an Endoscopy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of endoscopy procedures, working closely with physicians and nurses to provide exceptional patient care.

• Assist physicians and nurses with endoscopy procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and handling equipment and supplies with precision.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of endoscopy supplies, ordering and stocking as needed to ensure seamless procedures.
• Perform routine maintenance on endoscopy equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to promote positive communication and a culture of excellence.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest endoscopy techniques and technologies.

• CNA certification preferred, but not required.
• Minimum one year's experience in an acute care setting, preferably in endoscopy or a related field.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and surgical asepsis.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
