Job Title: Mental Health Therapist

Job Summary:

CoreCivic is seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will be responsible for providing clinical mental health services to offenders in a correctional facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct mental health screenings and assessments to identify the needs of offenders.
  • Develop and implement individual treatment plans to address the needs of offenders.
  • Provide counseling and crisis interventions to address the needs of offenders.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive materials and information.
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of psychological counseling theory and techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related clinical area.
  • Five years of clinical experience, including two years in a comparable job position.
  • Appropriate OH LPCC or LISW certification or licensing.
  • Valid driver's license (unless required by contract or applicable statute).
