Job Opportunity

CTR Group is seeking a skilled AutoCAD Specialist to support a US Navy Program in the Norfolk, VA area. The ideal candidate will have experience with AutoCAD software and a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and structural design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed ship checks to assess ship system conditions
• Provide development and modification of AutoCAD drawing products
• Perform technical reviews of ship information packages
• Review Ship Change Documents (SCDs) and Ship Installation Drawings (SIDs)

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent with credits in algebra, plane geometry, and drafting
• Formal training in CAD, preferably with the latest AutoCAD technology
• 2-3 years of experience in shipboard mechanical, electrical, or structural design
• 2-3 years of experience working with AutoCAD software
• Strong communication skills and good PC skills
