Penn State Health is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures, setting up and adjusting related equipment, and maintaining records under the direction of the Senior Imaging Staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform standardized imaging procedures ensuring accurate imaging as per defined protocols or under the direction of the radiologist/physician
  • Ensure proper operation of the equipment safely while maintaining regulatory standards during all procedures
  • Perform patient imaging by interacting with the patient using professionalism, courtesy, and safety guidelines
  • Maintain the area, supplies, and equipment in a neat, orderly, and prepared manner; perform room and equipment disinfection procedures
  • Responsible for daily equipment calibration; report equipment malfunctions and the need for adjustments and/or repair of equipment

Requirements:

  • Graduate of American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Radiography Program or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Program (NMTCB)(CT)
  • Graduate of ARRT Radiography Program Graduate: Must pass the radiography ARRT registry within six (6) months of employment
  • Must pass the CT ARRT registry within two (2) years of employment
  • Must pass NMTCB(CT) registry within six (6) months of employment

Preferred Qualification: CT experience preferred.
