Job Title: Froster

At Nothing Bundt Cakes #27, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Froster to join our team. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality cakes and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow proprietary frosting recipe and application methods with precision and achieve productivity goals.
  • Effectively utilize measuring instruments, commercial-grade or handheld mixer, and pastry bag to frost cakes.
  • Prioritize cake pre-orders according to schedule and frost cakes for walk-in guest orders accordingly.
  • Ensure an adequate supply of samples and frosted cakes are available for guests in the bakery display case and maintain appropriate frosting and frosted cake par levels.
  • Adhere to the proper packaging, labeling, and storage of frosted cakes as well as product rotation standards, and maintain frosting and refrigeration logs.
  • Monitor inventory of frosting supplies and notify management when replenishment is required.
  • Evaluate baked and frosted cakes to ensure NbC standards are met and inform management of any quality control issues.
  • Clean, sanitize, and restock workstation, ensure frosting supplies are sufficiently prepared for the next shift, and wash any equipment in the absence of the Dishwasher/Utility Employee.
  • Comply with all health and safety guidelines and NbC policies and procedures, including strict adherence to dress code and personal hygiene.
  • Maintain a consistent work attendance and punctuality record.
Requirements:
  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Previous experience in an operational support role at a bakery or restaurant or in a food service environment is a plus.
  • Must have the flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on changing business demands.
