Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRI Technologist to join our team as a Travel Diagnostic Imaging Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
  • Perform patient studies according to established protocols, including placing specified coils close to areas of interest.
  • Interview patients to explain MRI procedures and address their concerns, demonstrating exceptional tact, courtesy, and poise.
  • Ensure patient and staff safety by explaining safety protocols, requesting removal of hazardous metal objects, and monitoring patients via closed-circuit TV.
  • Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees.
Requirements
  • Two years of continuous recent experience as a MRI Technologist, with proficiency in all duties required of a MRI Technologist II.
  • License in the required state.
  • BLS certification.
  • Knowledge of MRI protocols and procedures, with the ability to perform complex MRI procedures.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group settings.
  • Ability to learn applications relevant to the position.
