Job Title: Lead Certified Nursing Assistant

ExcelCare At Egg Harbor is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our nursing department, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a team of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) in our skilled nursing rehabilitation center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Supervision:
    • Supervise and mentor a group of CNAs, providing guidance and support.
    • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss goals, challenges, and performance.
    • Facilitate continuous professional development and training opportunities for CNAs.
  • Patient Care:
    • Ensure CNAs deliver exceptional care to patients, following established protocols and procedures.
    • Assist in developing individualized care plans for patients and ensure compliance.
    • Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the nursing staff promptly.
  • Management and Accountability:
    • Implement and maintain accountability systems to track CNA performance.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to CNAs.
    • Address and resolve any staff-related issues or conflicts promptly.
  • Retention and Morale:
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve CNA retention and job satisfaction.
    • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, pride, and a sense of community.
    • Recognize and reward exceptional performance and contributions.
  • Autonomy and Empowerment:
