Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with routine pharmacy responsibilities, including preparing and distributing medications, maintaining inventory, and preparing reports.
  • Work under the direct supervision of the Pharmacy Manager or Registered Pharmacist to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and pharmacy policies.
  • Manage automated systems and maintain accurate records to ensure efficient and effective pharmacy operations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient care and support.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mathematical skills, including ability to perform complex weight and measure calculations.
  • General data entry skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • PTCB Certification and registration required.
Working Conditions

The Pharmacy Technician will work in a clean, well-lit, heated or ventilated facility with some exposure to machinery, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals. The role requires frequent contact with co-workers, other Medical Center employees, and incidental contact with patients, visitors, and physicians.

Physical and Mental Demands
  • Demonstrates physical and functional ability to perform full anatomical range of motion to accomplish tasks.
  • Evidence of visual and aural acuity and finger and hand dexterity to operate computer and office equipment.
  • Ability to withstand long periods of sitting, standing, and/or constant walking.
  • Ability to carry objects and push and pull carts.
  • Ability to lift 25lbs.

Garnet Health offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $28.12 hourly, comprehensive health, dental, and retirement benefits, and tuition reimbursement programs for continued education.
