We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paralegal to join our team at Progression Incorporated. As a Paralegal, you will play a critical role in supporting our trial attorneys in preparing cases for trial in Virginia state and federal courts.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with our trial attorneys to organize and prepare cases for trial, ensuring all necessary documents and information are gathered and presented in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with clients and healthcare providers to gather information and documents necessary to prepare cases for trial.
- Prepare correspondence, discovery responses, and other court pleadings associated with the litigation process.
- Schedule dates for court hearings, trials, depositions, mediation, and other critical events.
- 3-5 years of experience as a paralegal with a strong understanding of Virginia personal injury law.
- Working knowledge of court rules and procedures for General District and Circuit Courts.
- Excellent communication and strong people skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient computer and technology skills, including MS Office Suite and case management systems.
