Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paralegal to join our team at Progression Incorporated. As a Paralegal, you will play a critical role in supporting our trial attorneys in preparing cases for trial in Virginia state and federal courts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with our trial attorneys to organize and prepare cases for trial, ensuring all necessary documents and information are gathered and presented in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and healthcare providers to gather information and documents necessary to prepare cases for trial.
  • Prepare correspondence, discovery responses, and other court pleadings associated with the litigation process.
  • Schedule dates for court hearings, trials, depositions, mediation, and other critical events.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience as a paralegal with a strong understanding of Virginia personal injury law.
  • Working knowledge of court rules and procedures for General District and Circuit Courts.
  • Excellent communication and strong people skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient computer and technology skills, including MS Office Suite and case management systems.
