About the Role

Audacy Kansas City is seeking a skilled Producer/Board Operator to join our team at 610 Sports Radio. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality audio content to our listeners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate the control board to ensure seamless execution of live shows and pre-recorded content.
  • Develop and implement creative audio elements, including commercials and IDs, to enhance the listening experience.
  • Collaborate with on-air talent to produce engaging and informative content.
  • Research and prepare topics for discussion, ensuring a high level of accuracy and relevance.
  • Assist in the development of on-air promotions and marketing campaigns.
  • Contribute to the creation of social media content and website updates.
  • Perform light production work, including editing and mixing audio.
  • Other duties as required by management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in radio production.
  • Strong knowledge of audio equipment and software.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 4-year degree preferred.
