We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Lincoln Hall. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents.
Job Summary:The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care, conducting assessments, developing care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of care. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct and indirect patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and providing emotional support.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Current and valid New York State Board of Nursing License.
- CPR certification.
- One to three years of experience working with adolescents, preferred.
- Ability to plan and prioritize work to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
- Must be resourceful and calm in emergencies.
- A high degree of initiative with the ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Must have tact, discretion, and experience handling sensitive and confidential information, while maintaining a professional approach.
