Job Title: Maitre D' Host

The Inn at Pound Ridge by Jean-Georges is seeking an experienced Maitre D' Host to join our team. As a Maitre D' Host, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage all reservations, walk-ins, and dining room seatings.
  • Provide exceptional guest service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Work closely with the dining room staff to ensure prompt and courteous service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, adhering to sanitation and safety policies.
  • Participate in line-ups and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years of restaurant experience, preferably in fine dining and high-volume environments.
  • Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
What We Offer:
