The Role:
As an Incentive Compensation Analyst, you will play a key role in driving sales performance and margin improvement. Your responsibilities will include leading the development, communication, maintenance, calculation, and reporting of all company-wide incentive programs.
This critical position is essential for aligning organizational goals with competitive positioning of pay programs within the industry. You will collaborate with Finance, Sales, and Operations teams to optimize incentive plans, analyze compensation data to identify trends, and consolidate large data sets for accurate reporting.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Monthly, quarterly, and yearly calculations of company incentive programs.
- Presentation of incentive program results to management and securing necessary approvals.
- Collaboration with Finance, Sales, and Operations to support and enhance incentive plans.
- Analysis of compensation data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Consolidation and manipulation of large data sets for accurate reporting.
- Documentation of incentive program results and coordination with Payroll and HR on payment approvals.
- Evaluation of incentive compensation processes, tools, and systems to enhance accuracy and transparency.
- Development, review, and refinement of new and existing incentive plans to align with organizational goals.
- Monitoring changes in the competitive and regulatory environment to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
For this role, we seek candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 3 years' experience in compensation and variable pay, financial analysis, business intelligence, or a related area is required. Strong mathematical aptitude, analytical skills, and strategic thinking are essential.
Your knowledge and application of total rewards and compensation and variable pay programs are crucial. Familiarity with compensation management software and advanced Excel skills are also required. Experience working with Data Analytics tools, such as Power BI, is a plus. Effective problem-solving and situation analysis skills are necessary, along with the ability to maintain attention to detail on multiple projects/priorities.
Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per annum
