Gourmet Foods International is seeking a skilled Regional Truck Driver to join our team. As a Regional Truck Driver, you will be responsible for delivering customer orders in a safe and efficient manner.
Responsibilities- Perform pre-trip safety checks and inspections of the truck and trailer according to DOT/FMCSA regulations.
- Drive to and deliver customer orders following all DOT/FMCSA, state regulations and GFI procedures and protocols.
- Maintain load temperatures according to load specifications.
- Unload products from the trailer and place them in designated customer storage areas.
- Verify delivery of items with the customer and obtain proper signatures.
- Collect money (cash or checks) when required and contact management for authorization when discrepancies occur.
- Minimum age of 21.
- CDL License required.
The successful candidate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull up to 75 lbs, ascend and descend a step with a height of 17 in. from the floor, and ascend and descend 3 rungs of a ladder with the first rung at 21 in. from the ground.
